I used to know how to do it int he terminal. I think the command is similar but all I do is press cmd shift m in the disk utility on the drive i want mounted.
Take care and be blessed.
Post by Glennlaughingly,
It depends on the context to which it is used.
It holds a totally different meaning at a brothel than it does in your
shack.
But I think you are referring to the latter.
It means to connect it to your system and allow your OS to locate it, like
mount /dev/dev/hda
that's in Linux, but I'm not sure of the command-line method in the Mac OS.
HTH.

Subject: mount means
What does it mean to mount or not to mount something?
Thank you for your help in making this clear to me!
