I am programming in 'C' language.
What editor can I use for coding?
I was looking at terminal and using 'vi' for editing. But How do you highlight multiple lines for copying ?
The other option is textedit app. But I have to scp the files from unix server to my Mac each time for editing and scp it back to the server again.
I am looking for an easier way to modify/edit program language code.

Thanks..

Hi Amin,

You can use TextMate. I believe it has a plugin that allows you to edit files straight from an FTP. You can then install an FTP server on your Unix server and edit them in real-time.

Please go to the TextMate website and download the Alpha 2.0 version (which is free). It is compatible with VoiceOver, as well.

On a side note, why don?t you download the xCode command-line tools and compile the C code locally?

Good luck.
