How do I change the sleep settings on this Mac?

Hi all -

I've looked at and played around with the settings under system, trying to stop this Mac from dozing off when I'm away from it for a few minutes. I can't seem to shake it awake, it doesn't snore, but certainly sleeps deeply, and only comes back to life after a couple of minutes of me trying different key strokes. How can I have control of when it sleeps, and when it wakens? -

Go to energy setting and you should be able to accomplish this. It will be under both AC and battery tabs. It's the first option.

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we do our very best to ensure that the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy. We assume neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable happen.

Sarah - I've looked in there, but couldn't really make sense of what was
meant. There are options for screen saver or for screen dim/sleep, but I
couldn't find anything about the actual system going to sleep -
