Hi Folks:

I don't appear to be able to play the flash content on my mac. Any help would be appreciated all over the place.

You can't. That's the simple truth about it. adobe and apple for some reason do not get along with it and the problem will only get worse from what I hear.

Take care.

Hi Jim,

If you have a new MacBook Pro that was manufactured after Apple's decision at the end of October 2010 not to include Adobe Flash Player as part of the default installed software on the Mac, you'll have to separately install the Adobe Flash Player plugin for your browser at:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

This does not guarantee that you'll be able to accessibly play flash content on your Mac, though. And I've also read that earlier flash player versions were large battery drains when installed on the Macbook Air models, but that this is no longer as true of recent versions. (Near the time that Apple announced their decision not to include Flash by default, Ars Technica independently published a review of the 11" Macbook Air, and included their discovery that with Flash installed the battery life was reduced from six hours to four hours. A few other columns reported similar results for the 13" Macbook Air.)

I'd suggest that if you do have Flash installed, you might at least want to get the Click-to-Flash Safari extension, so you can block annoying flash-based ads automatically, and only display flash content of your choosing.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

When I said no you can't I was almost right. You can play flas but try stoping it or clicking buttons. I cannot find the buttons to click like on http://flipzu.com whenI want to broadcast from my computer.

Take care.
